I caught half an episode that was on syndication. The family gets a dish and all become really lazy. I've never seen this episode. Bart says "Let there be crap" when turning on the tv. What episode is it? What season is it from? Or am I just retarded and it's the same episode that the get illegal cable?

I don't think it is the illegal cable one (presuming that is the one that begins with Moses and ends with Homer sitting outside as the whole of Springfield watches boxing in his living room). Can't remember the title of the latter episode, but I remember Bart's "let there be crap" remark along with a scene where Bart went insane in his classroom and imagined his friends transforming into TV characters (including Bender!), Bart having chocolate ice-cream stubble and a rather horrible scene where the news anchorman vomits into a bucket during the adverts. Ugh, that one was definitely up there with "it's healing over my hand" and homer's eyes crusting over... I don't know what time the Simpsons is aired in the US, but over here it's usually on at dinner time!

No...it was part of Fox's "special prime time wednesday" or whatever - they're still doing the network runs, which typically continue for most episodes until about October or so - they typically enter syndication no earlier than then, but sometimes later (e.g. DABF02, 11, and 12, and maybe some others didn't enter syndication until January 03, since Fox was running them over the holiday).
