GOOFS / FREEZE FRAME / WHATNOT One of the early explanations for why this series is set in "Springfield, USA" is that this is also where "Father Knows Best" took place.

The a cappella performance of the theme by Canvas appeared on YouTube within hours of it first airing; in fact, it appeared on their album, "Finally" (along with, among other songs, "Conjunction Junction"), before the episode aired.
