In one scene in Hurricane Neddy, Flander's house is on the right of the Simpson's house (before the hurricane). Yet after the hurricane, Flander's (destroyed) house is on the left. What gives? Did the hurricane destroy the house, then move the house?

I'm not sure, but I think you see the houses from the rear, and so Flanders' house appears on the right.
