OK, upon careful (a few minutes') thought, I've weighed the good and the bad of this episode and came to a fairly positive conclusion. I still don't like all the goofy nonsense stuff, like the ranger climbing himself, the fading mirage sign and tumbleweed gag, werewolf tail, and eyeballs everywhere... but there was some fun snappy stuff too, and a decent plot. Of particular note: the childproof door is on the line, but funny enough; the Augustus Gloop thing was pretty funny as a running gag; and the ironic purchase of novelty eye-spring glasses (and in particular the timing of it) made me laugh.

Goof? If Back to the Future Part II taught me anything about French, it's that it's spelled "oh la la" and not "ooh la la".
Also NABF05 reran tonight and the World Trade Center joke is still in there. I guess that's good to go, then!
