Tonight's episode set its target on fun, and succeeded at reaching its goal. The main focus was humor, and so not a single joke failed horribly. Many amusing freeze-frame sign jokes can be found in this one. For an Ian Maxtone-Graham episode, everyone was surprisingly in character (bar some iffy Marge) and Bart and Lisa were actually acting like children (Season 15 has done this fairly well). Homer and Marge's desire for some kid-free time was understandable and ergo was very fun to watch. The "Catch Me If You Can" parody sequence was excellently done; humorous and visually entertaining as well. There was some overdone wackiness, most notably with the tornado, which taints the episode a bit. Also, Grampa's amusing plot was abandoned far too early and I kept waiting for them to show where Maggie was during all this, but it was an otherwise great episode that kept me thoroughly entertained throughout, grabbing it an 8.5/10. (B+)
Catch Me If You Can (2002) details the true story of the life of Frank Abagnale Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie), a teen in the 60s who successfully impersonated an airline pilot, doctor, assistant attorney general and history professor, cashing more than $2.5 million in fraudulent checks in 26 countries. The FBI sent Agent Carl Hanratty to hunt him down, at first not seeing him as a huge threat. However, it ended up a chase spanning several cities, countries and continents.
Sandra Bullock, born in a Virginia suburb of Washington D.C. to a German opera singer and a voice teacher, grew up on the road with her parents and younger sister. Her first notable performances as a silver screen actress were in "Demolition Man" and "Wrestling Ernest Hemingway" but her stardom was not fully achieved until her unforgettable role in "Speed". She now is one of the most well known names in Hollywood.
The male protagonist of Love Story is also known for his extensive filmography of 41 movies and TV series, including "A Bridge Too Far", "Paper Moon" and most recently "Malibu's Most Wanted". O'Neal comes from a long line of Hollywood hotshots, with father, screenwriter Charles O'Neal, brother of screenwriter Kevin O'Neal and children Tatum and Griffin. He also lived with and had a child with Farrah Fawcett, and is currently in remission with his battle with leukemia.
