In which episode(s) do we learn about Nelson Muntz's love of jam-making? I can think of the episode in which Lisa approaches the table to ask the boys for a date to the school disco, but I am sure there are more examples than this. Any information would be gratefully received.

I don't know about jam specifically, but there have been a few hints into the lighter side of Nelson
--He's speaking to a group of kids about boysenberries and if the berries are too tart, "I add a pinch of confectionary sugar.." Then someone walks up and he talks about punching a guy.
--At the chili cookoff, Nelson has an entry. "It takes weeks to make Muntz"

The episode your after is, I think, 'Lard Of The Dance' 5F20.
New girl Alex Whitney arrives in town and is one of those annoying 'Whatever, Hellllo' Clueless style girls. She becomes popular and Lisa gets jealous of her, copying her mannerisms. Alex organises a school dance in the school hall and all the girls have dates except Lisa. She dresses up and asks the boys sitting at a table listening to Nelson for a date. However, they all have dates and she goes alone. At the dance none of the boys dance with the girls and the dance looks like being a disaster.
Meanwhile Homer realises he can get money for selling grease fat. Homer and Bart break into the school and try to steal the greases in the canteen cookers. This is Willie's 'Retirement grease' and it accidently gets piped into the school ventilation system while Homer and Willie fight. The ventilation explodes in the school hall showering the kids in grease. They think it's snow and start enjoying themselves!
Another example of Nelson's lighter side is in 'Bart the Mother' 5F22, the episode where Bart looks after lizard eggs. Nelson teases him for NOT putting on a scarf when they go outside.
Also in 'Bart on the Road' 3F17, the episode where Bart fakes a drivers ID and drives to the Noxville Worlds Fair, Nelson insists on them watching Andy Williams in concert.
There are propably a few others! They'll come to me!
