DYNs ...the vending machine had: Top row: Homer (C5), Marge (G9), Maggie (A2), Lisa (B3), Bart (C4) Middle Row: Moe (D5), Lenny (E[?]), Carl (J7), Patty (F6), Apu (A3) Bottom Row: Mr. Burns (J10), Smithers (B5), Nelson (C1), Mrs. Krabappel (F7), Krusty ([?]9) ...while some episodes have two (or more) directors credited, this is the first one with a specifically credited "Co-Director" next to the director's name? ...the mall stores: 1987 Calendars!!!, Yesterday's Puppies (formerly Pet Shop), Dukakis Campaign H.Q., J.C. Penney's, Captain Blip's Zapateria (arcade), Rock Bottom Remainders ...the Leftorium doesn't seem to be in the mall any more? ...four of the cars in the race (88, 68, 57, and 66) were sponsored by KBBL? ...Marge's "The Simpsons" sign has a Fox copyright notice? ...Bart calls Marge "the Jesus of carpentry" - which is not the joke that it seems, when you consider that there is no evidence that Jesus was a carpenter? ...the Simpsons now have one of those 555-01## numbers? (It used to be that all 555 numbers, except 555-1212, were set aside for use in fictional stories; now, only 555-01## numbers are unused, which is why a lot of numbers in movies are 555-0199) ...Homer has (at least) two bowling balls with his name on them? The one Bart bowls is blue, and presumably the green one is the one that Marge has used (although you can't read where it says "Homer") ...the last trophy Bart tries to bowl over says "High Jump Honorable Mention"? ...there are no mention of Bart's other allergies: butterscotch, imitation butterscotch, and glow-in-the-dark monster makeup?
GOOFS / FREEZE FRAME / WHATNOT The "Rock Bottom Remainders" is a rock band consisting mainly of writers, formed by Stephen King in 1992, which includes Matt Groening on vocals.
In the auto race, some of the cars' numbers on their hoods were written to be read from the front, while others were to be read from the side.
Marge has had accomplishments before; for example, when she made her dessert in FABF20.
Right after the workers leave, all of the damage to the Zoominator is gone.
Marge didn't fix the broken track on the far left, yet Homer didn't derail.
Marge made her fixes to the broken track without nails - and even if she had nails, they wouldn't be big enough to hold the rails to the wood frame.
When Homer makes his left-to-right pass in the Zoominator, the logo on the roller coaster cars is mirror image.
