Archie Bunker was right! They should give everybody a gun as they board the plane and take the guns back at the landing. Then we could just shoot any hijackers.

Or while you're at it, just pump all the passengers up with depressants so they'll sleep through the entire flight and load them up with stimulants when they arrive. You'll save money on food and the movie.

Don't they *already* serve booze and coffee? Heck, if they *mandate* booze and coffee on airplanes, I'll never bother to stay on the ground!
Well, not really, but it *is* oddly appealing.

Why not use a human size version of pet carriers. Then we could all be locked away from one another. No hijack problems. No air rage. Also, think how fast planes could be loaded and unloaded not having to wait for people to walk on. ;-P

Run this one past Cynthia first ;-)
Lovely pillows would only be for first class crates, of course.

pillows
If it is good enough for Wishbone it is good enough for airline passangers. Hell, they treat us like sardines now. Being treated like a pup would be a step up.
It was a time of great turmoil. One voice cried out in the wilderness. kimba wrote:
Except for First Class passengers who would get Fancy Feast.
Which is probably better for them than what they get now.
thats what the INS does when they take a prisoner back to their country. they arent allowed to handcuff them on flights so the sedate them.

depressants
This is already available from the drink cart (alcohol's a central nervous system depressant), but Muslims don't consume alcohol. Maybe NO2 plus something to help people sleep via the ventilation system. It's non-invasive & we're sure not to miss anyone (unless they've trained someone who can hold his breath the entire flight). The cockpit will be sealed off, of course, as it probably will be from now on anyway.
stimulants
Just discontinue the gas when you land and everyone's ready to go.

"amazingly", many do, when not in Muslim countries. According to news reports, even some of the terrorists who suicided the aircraft into the WTC were known to have a drink while in the company of non-muslims. I don't KNOW if that is true, as I was not there, but such has been stated in the media. Perhaps they were "allowed" as part of their cover. Bob

WTC
Alcohol consumption is common by Muslims in Turkey and Bosnia. Also in the homes of the rich and powerful in most other Muslim countries.
