Has anyone played the Simpsons Hit and Run videogame? It looks to be really fun and quite faithful to the show. I'm thinking of getting it when it's available for Windows.

I have it for Xbox and it's great. The plot isn't the most inventive and the basic missions are repetitious. Other than that, there are so many references that you'll be busy with spotting them and not too concerned with the gameplay (which is still fun, don't get me wrong). The characters can wear different costumes such as Muumuu Homer, Cool Lisa, Officer Marge, Bartman, Ninja Bart, Doughnut-head Homer and others. Some great Simpson cars, gags to find such as the nuclear steam vent release secondary characters with vocals like Ralph Wiggam barking like a dog when hit by a car. And the backrounds are full of references. After playing for a few days, I was back in an area I had been in several times and just then noticed I was by the lemon tree. I strongly recommend it.

that sounds awesome, us computer players haven't received any simpsons games (Simpsons Cartoon Studio and Virtual Springfield don't count) so I'm really looking forward to the Windows version as well.

I have it for my Xbox, even though some of the missions are the same as other missions, it's a great game. Lots of Simpsons locations and very fun to play. It's actually the coolest Simpson game I have ever played...
It is hands down the best Simpsons game out there, the only thing that would come close for sheer enjoyment of playing for any fan would probaly be the pinball machine.
Now if they took the "Star Wars Galaxies" interface and made a Simpsons world, that would rule...
