As time goes on, people are getting more frustrated with advertisers and their persistence through pop-up ads, product placements on TV shows, and endorsements during TV shows (even occurs on The Simpsons). In the forseeable future there is going to be some sort of revolt against advertisers, because people feel (rightfully) that they have the right to be free from a certain degree of advertising.
