There's also the episode where the Springfieldians get to sample classes at the YMCA, and Homer gets his leg caught on the rim of the basketball hoop, and the whole thing crashes down on his shin (or thereabouts). Then, he makes it worse by trying to run away from the bear in the hospital. Or did it all happen when he was playing basketball at night by himself, and he jumped up and up into outer space, and George Jetson flies his ship/vehicle thing into Homer's leg. JET-SON! I'm not sure how it happens--maybe a little morphine would refresh my memory. I hear it comes in Flintstones chewable form now.
