Useless one regarding the "Where is Springfield?" mystery (DABF15)

The title of tonight's episode is "Little Girl in the Big Ten." Although this title is a play on the phrase "little girl in the big city," if Lisa were to literally go to one of the colleges which are in the Big Ten Conference of American College sports, then Springfield would have to be in or near one of these cities (considering she is only 8 and can't really drive there-and Homer wouldn't want to drive her, either):

As an antidote to the rather rude replies you've gotten so far, I'll play along. Seeing as how the Big Ten already contains eleven teams and the Big XII already exists, I would imagine that Springfield U. is simply the new twelfth Big Ten team in a league that has increasingly lost all sense of the thinking man's arithmetic. And, since Boise St. (IIRC) is now part of league made up of mostly southern schools, Springfield can be just about anywhere without contradiction.

Now, for anyone who may question my intelligence or wish for my death, do I really think all this is necessary? No. It's just the title of an episode.
