Once I was at a Bat Mitzvah. The kids were playing a trivia game. I was listening to the questions. One of the questions was "which of the following NEVER did a voice on 'The Simpsons'?" The answer was Elizabeth Taylor. I pointed out to the host that Elizabeth Taylor had done a voice on OFF, but he told me that I was wrong. I was secretly feeding answers to my nieces to help them in the competition, and they were wondering why I had given them a wrong answer. Oy vey, you can't win!

On a related note, I'm reminded of the contestant who used his PAF on a question about the US coin on which the person on the 'heads' side is facing towards the right side of the coin (as we look at it). The PAF didn't know, and said later that it never occurred to him to put his hand in his pocket, take out the coins there, and look at them. :-)

The "50-50" is a computer assisted lifeline. Maybe they should of, instead of the "double-dip" for Super-Millionaire, just made a "mega-search" lifeline while at the same time strictly forbidding the use of internet assistance via PAF. The contestant could type in the search bar and use the results to assist for a guess to the answer. Regis could of plugged Google or go.com search engine everytime they used it.
