Season 18! It's... off to a start. I'm not really a big fan of mob movies and The Sopranos and so forth, so it was a little hard to get into this. I liked the Lisa/Michael story, which of course was the main plot, but most of the auxiliary stuff wasn't as easy. I also note that while endings tend to be pretty tough to make good, I enjoyed this week's, with the "accidental" poisoning and Godfather stuff juxtaposed with the children's behaving as such. Another moment I liked was Homer and Moe's run at the bar. On the other hand, Doris speaks? and McDonald's and Burger King's nonexistence in Springfield was explained in a way that made sense (more, even, than in 3F18), but eh... overall, a fun idea, but I wasn't nuts about the execution (har). Seeya next week...
DYN: ...Otto's voice doesn't sound right most of the time? ...there seems to be some sort of black halo around Skinner (animation goof? transmission error?)? ...Doris speaks? It sounds like Tress MacNeille to me - but I don't like it. I don't like it at all.

Goofs: Lisa doesn't seem to have a problem eating macaroni and cheese (despite what she said in 3F03, hasn't she been becoming more vegan?). When Krusty is first seen, his nose is flesh-colored. (Maybe he applied it just before turning around?) Bart doesn't seem to remember his lesson from 8F03.
Question Can someone explain what on earth the title means? This has been bothering me for months, and I guess it's a reference to something. I'll find out just after I post this, I'm sure, but I hope it's not as convoluted as "The Fright to Creep and Scare Harms"...
