which was the simpsons episode that had a parody of King of the Hill? Was it just one scene or was there an entire Simpsons epsiode about Arlen football?

Just one scene. It showed Hank and Peggy and Bobby and Luanne sitting in the stands watching Homer coach Barts football game.

That was the episode where Homer made Bart the Quarterback against the best judgement of the rest of the boys on the team. Bart eventually takes the fall for Nelson and is hauled off in Wiggum's police car as Nelson scores the winning touchdown.

In one episode (Helter Shelter (#DABF21 / SI-1321)), where the house had to be fumigated for Russian Termites, Homer suggested waiting outside in the street, and the whole beginning to King of The Hill was played using Simpsons characters and used the same music.

An ep from a couple of years ago, "Helter Shelter" has The Simpsons hanging outside while their house is being fumigated. The "King Of The Hill" intro music is being played as choppy animation (a la intro to KOTH) ensues. While the Simpsons are standing there, different people appear around them..i.e. a garbage truck/worker. I think Homer is drinking a beer like Hank.

There was one where they had some telethon, answering phones included Rupert Murdoch, Hank Hill, the fat family guy dad, the PJs guy and I think they complained about raising enough money so they dont have to cancel some shows
