It is definitely crazy to consider Coke and Pepsi as the same, as the two sodas taste completely different.

Homer's comment about a Twinkie turning into alcohol after 10 years is a crack at an urban legend which claims that Twinkies have very long shelf lives ranging from five years to almost 100 years. Another example of this type of reference appears in the Family Guy, with Peter explaining that Twinkie is one of two things that can survive a nuclear explosion.

Actually, someone garbled it. It should be "Doesn't Millhouse Live Here Anymore", and a reference to Phil Och's "Doesn't Lenny Live Here Anymore" from his "Rehearsals for Retirement" album from 1968. Obviously, since it came first, when the movie came along they dropped the "Doesn't" part, and tonight's episode continues the shortening.
