My news server doesn't offer this ng apparently as it doesn't show up in the list when I try to add it. How can I get access to it? Can I get my ISP to offer it? Thanks for the help and sorry for the lack of substantive Simpsons content.

The internet is on computers these days. You could try typing in the address manually. I am assuming you are using Outlook express? I might venture to guess that your providor (AT&T?) might not offer it, because of the bandwidth that is used when downloading from the binaries newsgroup. Very easy (usually).
Just send a email to [email] or whatever your isp is. That's the easiest way rather than looking through some customer service faq page. I've done it with 2 different isps and had excellent results.
Verizon adds new groups every Friday. They actually have a special newsgroup where a tech guy hangs out and catches the requests there.
