Has anyone figured out how long it's gonna take before the DVD releases catch up with season premieres? I mean, it shouldn't be too hard to calculate... supposing the DVDs are released every 6 months or so. If we're lucky, that is. Hm. Any estimates, at least?

Well, I really won't care once they get past season 4.
Assuming a 6-month gap between releases, Season 22 will be released in the first half of 2012, with Season 23 will begining that fall.
Assuming a more likely 8-month gap, Season 32 will be released in August of 2022, with Season 33 beginning that fall.
So, we've got a while.

2 more seasons on air and then they catch up rather quickly in DVD releases. Multiple years in box sets. Something like 3 seasons per box for $99.99
