Insane Clown Poppy Mid East jokes

It was weird that after showing weeks of seasons 3-6 Simpsons episodes in syndication all of a sudden they show a season 12 episode.

Anyway, this ep had references to our current national situation. For example at one point Krusty was in the Middle East during the Gulf War and he said "Maybe it was the Anthrax in the air..." Another part of the show had soldiers yelling how cheerleaders are an insult to the Muslim beliefs. Then that girl Krusty banged was trying to kill Saddam, but Krusty stopped her so he could keep his Saddam material. "Hussein's on first, Ayatollah's on second..." The airing of the ep was weird, but funny as hell.

Along the same lines Comedy Central has still been showing "The Critic" episode that features a protracted Gulf War flashback. Saddam Hussein is still funny, it seems.
