REVIEW: B - this episode couldn't decide what it wanted to be. Hey, it's a world record attempt! No, wait, it's a class action lawsuit! No, it's a remake of "Homer vs. the Eighteenth Amendment", but with sugar! However, somebody did decide to tack on another "Homer does what Marge tells him is best" ending.

REFERENCES "Erin Brokovich" (mentioned by name) Megan's Law (Marge's Law) Butterfinger ("even the fire doesn't want them")

POSSIBLE REFERENCE Pretty Woman (referring to Erin Brokovich as a prostitute - either I missed something about the real EB's life, or the only connection she has to a prostitute is that Julia Roberts portrayed both in movies)

   much the reason the Guinness book was created in the first place?

...speaking of dead actors (again), this episode was "dedicated to
   the memory of Ron Taylor" (with a picture of Bleeding Gums Murphy),
   although it was rather brief compared to their other dedications?

GOOFS / FREEZE FRAME / WHATNOT When Homer fell from the pyramid, there was quite a bit of space surrounding him; he shouldn't have been able to grab somebody.

Technically, it wasn't a pyramid any more if Maggie was on top of just Homer. (They should have put Marge with her hairdo on the top.)

When Lisa and Bart jump into the sugar water, in the next scene they're splashing each other - but Lisa was holding Maggie when she jumped in.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: 2 (Homer's climb up the human pyramid mimics Ethan Hunt's climb in the beginning of MI:2.... right down to the "facing outward-arms extended" pose..... and didn't the music reflect the MI:2 ref at that point?)
