Since I turned it off in disgust, can someone tell me how/why she had them removed at the end of the episode??

Happened sorta randomly. She went in and got them removed as she said, since she was tiring of the attention and back pains.

I can rememeber when "Itchie and Scratchy and Poochie" first aired. There were a couple of people on this group who thought the new addition to the Simpsons family was actually going to be a permanent character, and they didn't seem to be joking!

The Lester&Eliza ending of "The Day the Violence Died" is almost similar. I miss Roy. He gave a "totally in your face" element that made the Simpsons more pro-active.

I thought it was funny, Marge waking up with a huge chest.And then all the men basically handing her the world...
Because Marge is so practical and Straight laced.... for her to be a sex symbol is funny...
Had some very funny moments, like in the dark when Homer fell off... Marge trying to pick up Maggie and open the cabinets....

That isn't new - one of the underlying themes of the show has always been how an oaf like Homer landed a hottie like Marge.
As a Simpsons fan, I pride myself in finding worthwhile elements of even the bad episodes. So my turning it off prematurely indicates it wasn't even worth waiting to see if any existed.
It was horrible, exploitive, badly written and extremely unfunny.

This note is hilarious. First, you turn off an episode becuase you are disgusted (presumably at its unfunniness). Then you post, asking for the ending of the episode. A) why are you still watching a series that disgusts you? B) why are you so interested in the ending of an episode you hated (interested enough to post about it)?

I used the "was so disgusted I turned it off" as a vehicle to emphasize my hatred for this particular episode. I'm still a solid Simpsons fanatic.
You seem to be the only one who has interpreted negative comments about one new episode by myself as an attack on the whole series. Perhaps you should have read my favorable comments about TOH XIII ...

She was going to have them taken out anyways, she just had some reservations when she landed a job and Homer enjoyed them.
