Hey, guys ! Is it a sort of game on this NG ? Is these secret encrypted messages ?
to sum it up ... Is there any sense and reasons to your posts ... I'm new and dying to understand if it's because i'm mentally-limited or it is just due to a large scale use of reefers and other illegal products among the ats' population ?
I am quite clueless ... and it's embarassing ...

Most threads on this newsgroup evolve into what I can best describe as a "quote volley" one person says part of a quote, someone else says another part and so on. Sometimes these quotes remind people of entirely different quotes in other episodes so they will go off on that tangent. It's just something to do, it's fun for the people who know the quotes and refs and it's fun to read because it will often remind you of a scene you hadn't thought about in awhile and will give you a good laugh.
Kevin
"Quote Volley" is a good term... I've been calling it "Free Quote Association".
They're not sad at all. They're actually quoting! They quote without juicers. They quote without blenders. They quote without flunjers, capdabblers and smendlers!

Hee hee. Glad somebody finally posted that.
This is, by far, the best explanation, I've seen thus far, of what takes place in this NG.
Bravo, Kevin.

Did it strike you as odd that in a Super Bowl show with Dolly Parton we didn't see any football or singing? I hadn't thought about it, Pat, but in retrospect, it was kind of a rip-off! What a way to treat the loyal fans, who put up with so much nonsense from this franchise. Sincerely, Little Girl
