Michael Medved
The author of the "What Would Jesus Watch" book Lisa held up. Medved's a right-wing film critic and radio host best known as the author of HOLLYWOOD VS. AMERICA (1992), which blamed movies and TV for America's social ills. When Mel Gibson screened THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST for top U.S. religious figures last year, Medved was among them.
Medved and his brother wrote a series of reasonably funny books on lousy movies, including THE GOLDEN TURKEY AWARDS.
