Sideshow Mel ... talking on camera?

I thought the Sideshows didn't talk on camera. Is this the first time this has happened, or am I late?

Are you referring to the special when Mel arrives, singing? If so, that's a good point, but that's also not really an episode of "Krusty" proper. How about in-show stuff?

Are we talking on-camera on KRUSTY'S show? In planned occasions (i.e., he was obviously SUPPOSED to talk)? That's what I meant. (Sorry if it was unclear.)
