BTW, the ep where they have all the different mini shows (Apu partying on his 5 minute break, Smithers and Burns pedaling on a bicycle, etc.)..besides Bart with Milhouse on the bridge; doesn't that episode have minimal appearances by the main characters (maybe even the least amount of screen time ever)??

"A Fish Called Selma (3F15)" is the earliest "Simpson-free" episode that I can remember. Most of that show was about Selma and Troy McClure, with OFF mainly in a cameo role.

I thought he was refering to "22 Short Stories About Springfield," which probably has the least amount of OFF screen time.
