(Hysterical moments that don't lend themselves to quoting)

Bart slips his empty ice cream dish into Maggie's kitchen sink bathwater while Marge is talking to Lisa about bonding with Homer. "Bart!" "What?"

Lisa trips Homer to fill the void left in their lives by Bart's defection to the Burns mansion. "That's sweet."

maggie's joyful exclaimation, then bouncing outdoors belted in her carseat

milhouse's concerned facial expression, while the kids around him laugh, as bart, standing atop his treehouse, searches frantically for the 'epidermis' that's showing

The "Indiana Jones" opening scene is one of the funniest things I have ever seen anywhere. Homer rolling down those stairs after Bart has me laughing like a loon every time I see it!

At the start of Homerpalooza, Otto is driving the school bus but he is dreaming that he is winning the School District Safety Award. Milhouse wakes him up and Otto dodges a few things on the road before ending up in a car crusher. The kids and Otto run out the back door screaming before we see the bus reduced to a small cube.

In "Who Shot Mr. Burns, Part 2" when Smithers was openly weeping on the sidewalk, the guy dressed as a muffler sticks a pamphlet in Smithers' jacket pocket.
