Earl Hindman, the guy who played "Wilson" on "Home Improvement" died recently. Last night I was watching "Deep Space Homer" on at 6:30 pm EST on Fox 25 in Boston, and they showed the scene where the NASA (Nassau) officials were watching television, or as they called it "TV", and they watched a scene from "Home Improvement" where Tim Allen ran over Wilson with a driving lawn mower, killing him. So he not only died in real life, his TV character died during his appearance on "The Simpsons".

Of course, Ashe's case was even worse: Ashe contracted AIDS from a blood transfusion during open-heart surgery in the early 1980s and wished to die in dignity without the general public knowing he had AIDS, but was basically forced by the media into revealing that he had AIDS as they were going to do it for him if he didn't.

This whole "curse" thing is just ridiculous...there are so many people associated with the Simpsons and eventually they die.

The day one of the voice actors dies in a car crash...that's the day you can call it "the Simpson's curse".
