People post links to simpsons related items here all of the time and as far as I know it is something that is generally accepted here. I think one guy decided what you posted was spam and decided to make a comment.

Because he was posting information about SIMPSONS RELATED memorabilia for sale. People do it occasionally here. It is NOT spam because it is a single message posted by an individual and is related to the topic of the group and may be of interest to the general populace of the group. Just because it is something being offered for sale does not necessarily make it spam.
