hi all, I remember a while back there was a post about if the Simpsons had a cat before snowball I, and I found the answer in Simpsons Halloween special III. In a segment where Bart finds a book of spells it explains that Snowball I was killed by Mayor Quimby's brother Clovis and in that epi they try to bring him back to life using the book of evil spells but instead raise the dead of the Springfield community. Anyways it also goes to show the grave of Snowball I and the years of birth to death (1988-1990). I also remember another episode where Bart is taking an escalator to heaven and he passes a small cloud with a grey cat w/ skidmarks on it and a tag (Snowball I). Does Snowball I get referenced in any other epis? just wondering.

What I find most amusing is I seem to recall they tried substituting Snowball II for Snowball I, hoping Lisa wouldn't notice...thusly the same name...and yet Snowball II was white and Snowball I was black?!
Homer probably thought he could convince her that the cat had always been black. (which ironically would probably work on Homer)

At first glance I made the same mistake he did, at second glance I was able to interpret what you meant. Now the first part is not a smart remark. As he said: he was trying to get clarification. I think you misunderstood the second part. I don't think he was calling your post silly...he was making fun of the subject "snowball info" I'm not going to go into detail but if you posted to say...alt.sex with that subject, people would be expecting something alltogehter different.
