DVD Planet lists "Futurama: Bender's Big Score", the first of the four new DVDs planned, as being released on November 27 (why, yes, that is the day after Thanksgiving when everybody and their mother are out Christmas shopping - how about that?).

Which is interesting since Tuesday is traditionally the day to release new records (and obviously in more recent years, CDs and then DVDs). Beat the weekend crush, and yet not right at the beginning of the week.
It's movies that see a different opening day. Since if they think it may open big and/or it's opening near a holiday, they open it on Wednesday to get the holiday crowd.
