okay, back on the 'group after a long wait, because I didn't feel like posting anything without a new show. The following is my observations from the show, and I will also include outside factors such as food and stuff for all my reviews this season (or I will try to, don't hold me to this). There will be nothing fancy in here like production code, individual segment / episode name, just what I remember from the show. Got it? lets go.

Simpsons Treehouse of Horror 13 Hey what happened to the scary names for the credits? That was stupid. They might as well get rid of the oozing font also. I thought the thing with Maude Flanders coming back was lame. But it was funny because Homer still was attracted to her. I did like Bart's Maude costume. First act: MORE HOMERS! Homer gets a magical hammock that creates duplicates of him. Does anyone remember the Calvin and Hobbes where Calvin gets his trusty carboard box and makes a duplicator machine? This is similar. Homer making a duplicate of himself to throw the dead 'dup into Flanders' yard was great. You knew it would snowball from there. All the Homer clones (and the defects: Hank Hill, Peter Griffin, Ol' School Homer) gathered around was funny. Having them run off a cliff like lemurs was a 'logical ending' but Homer once survived a similar plunge down a cliff, so how come to 'Clomers' couldn't? The suprise ending where the original Homer was the first off the cliff was good. At this point, my pizza was burning. Act grade: A-

2nd Act: Zombies again. Food at this point: Pepperoni Pizza, salad with 1000 island dressing, with bottle of water. I am currently sitting on the floor. Lisa wants to ban guns. I didn't get the Billy the Kid setup, but I am not an expert on old west history. Shouldn't the Simpsons have gotten more money for all the guns they turned in? What about the shotgun Maggie keeps under her crib? I want answers! Then, zombies come up from the dead. Take over, dispite somehow not running out of bullets. Homer is the new pianist at Moe's (heh. . pianist) and Homer's greed to make it big time with a solo performance was a riot. We finally found out where Frink's lab is, in Moes! Time machine, Homer wrecks time continum again. Forgets Grandpa Simpsons advice on Homer's wedding day. Homer saves day, Zombies get shot (WHAT? YOU CAN'T SHOOT ZOMBIES WITH A SMALL GUN! You have to have something better than that.) I liked when future Homer "came back" and Moe disposes of him. Act grade: C+

3rd Act: The Island of Dr Hibbert Why are they going to the Island of the Smiley Face? Who knows. Marge goes exploring, gets caught, comes back more sexy than ever to Homer. Every character has been turned into something crazy, like Homer = Walrus, Lisa = Owl, Moe = Cell Phone. I didn't really find this act that memorable, which is why I didn't write as much. Act grade: C-

Remember, the point of this post was that I only watched it once, and slept on it, and wrote a review the following afternoon. Overall episode grade: B- (hopefully, the lowest I give out of the season). -Aaron TheYAM.net

I think you mean "lemmings."

Interestingly enough (well, to me, anyway), lemmings don't actually do that either.

But just picture lemurs running off a cliff - it really is funnier than lemmings doing the same old thing.

Ah, but as we learned in "Screaming Yellow Honkers," lemurs are nocturnal, so it would probably be too dark to see them anyway.

Old school Homer was great. I didn't see Hank Hill; was he actually there?

You know what? I think I may have dreamed this up or something. Sometimes, I make up what I want to see. I will watch it again by some means. . .(dl of 101010 group) and see if I was wrong. Probably as usual. But I thought the generals were due! -Aaron TheYAM.net

there?

Sometimes,

Okay, upon review, there was no Hank Hill in the field of many, many Homers. There was the fat Homer, Homer with glasses, Peter Griffin, and old school Homer. They should have thrown in some of the Homers from "Lisa the Simpson" (ep 4f24). -Aaron TheYAM.net

hey i was wondering were they trying to say that Peter Griffin was a Homer rip-off cause thats the way it seemed to me? Anyone agree?

Homer once

Well, Homer was rescued soon afterwards as well, and spent a long time recovering.

The Clones didn't have any such luck, and any that didn't die on impact or squished from above by other clones probably died from exposure, loss of blood, hunger, dehydration, or any combination thereof.

Also, IT'S A ****ING CARTOON! Homer clones himself from a Hammock! Exactly where did you get the idea that it had to be realistic?

WHAT?

better

Sure you can. According to the zombie movies I've seen, Shot placement counts a lot more then caliber. All you have to do is shoot/destroy the brain and the (undead) body will die(again). A Shotgun is preferable, more effective and a hell of a lot more fun, but any gun will apparently do.

It's pretty much creative license when it comes to things that don't provably exist, such as zombies, werewolves, vampires, etc. You want to argue, fine, but unless you can prove you've dealt with such creatures in real life, it's pretty much "My favorite movie/book/legend concerning the supernatural" vs. yours, etc. Of course, there should be internal consistency, but that's entirely another argument altogether.

Plus you can bludgeon them to death. At least that's what I've done to the zombies that appear at my front door. And they do appear constantly -- dressed as my mailman, neighbors, friends, the local police (inquiring about several missing people). They're tricky, those zombies are.
