Just received a copy of Season 6 DVD, don't like the packaging much, any ideas when Season 7 DVD will be out?

That's funny. One of the requirements is a "dislike for storing your digital media inside a hollowed out human head". I wonder if sales have taken a hit because of the box. When I saw it at Best Buy, I thought "Boy, how stupid", and walked right out.

That's exactly it. I was on the fence about the purchase. Let's face it - any fan of the Simpsons has probably seen every episode 40 times each, since they're played over and over and over again. I could barely sit through the first three season box sets, but I kept buying them because I'm such a fan. I also felt that better seasons were coming. The Fourth Season box set was the first one that I kind of enjoyed. It's a really good season, but still a little boring due to the amount of times I've seen every episode. I got the Fifth Season as a Christmas gift, and had the same experience as the Fourth Season - good, but boring for the 10x.

I assume that I'm not alone. I'm sure that there are fans out there who dreamed of owning the entire Simpsons on DVD, and are no longer THAT gung-ho about it. They see that they have a few seasons on disc and watched each set once. Maybe it's not so important to OWN the entire show anymore. So Fox puts out this "Special Edition" Homer's head edition to stir up some interest. Maybe get the "Comic Book Guy" types to buy a couple, with the hope of selling them on EBay in a few years. Please, the whole thing smacks of desperation :)

Can't order a proper box, as you have to be in the US or Canada, but I'm in the United Kingdom, any ideas?

I think that I read that they are sending mostly boxes that are like the old ones, in addition some Homer head boxes.
