So, you expect the rest of the world to cry over Sept 11 (you first ever experience of terrorism) while the rest of the world has been suffering terrorism for decades, thanks in no small part to your foreign policy and support for such terrorist supporters such as NORAID (I doubt if you have even heard of them).

Brett, I suppose I went over the top with my comments and I am sorry for that. But what is a non American suppose to think when such a comment receives only one or two replies that condemn such a sick posting.
I have friends that were affected by that bombing and as such, I do not wish to read such glib comments and I am not a moron!!
I come on here to relieve myself of the day to day hassle of life and what must now be the escalating threat of Al Qaida in Europe.
I come on here to read about the most innovative cartoon series ever made(although IMHO now only the 3rd best).

Most of us probably viewed it as trolling, and gave it the appropriate response, which is to simply ignore it.
How do you know the poster of that thread wasn't a non-American as

Just because one person decided to say something you didn't like you automatically call them an American and start shooting your mouth off about how such things are in poor taste. I didn't see you post anything in the discussion threads about molesting Lisa. Does that mean you condone pedophilia? Or that the act of pedophilia isn't something an American would do? If you're going to spew anti-American bullcrap at least be consistent with it. And just for the record...if someone makes a joke about something and I find it funny, I laugh. That's right. I laugh, even if it *IS* in poor taste. In fact, a few days after the whole "9/11" incident occurred, I heard a very VERY funny joke about it. I was affected by 9/11. 2 of the firemen who died that day were very close friends of my family. That doesn't mean I turn into a humorless asswipe every time someone brings it up. If you're offended by something you just read on usenet then CONGRATULATIONS, you're our 6,000,000,000th customer!!! Be mature and ignore it like most other people did.
