Don't be such a moron. Praise what's praiseworthy, but don't merely accept every steaming pile of horseshit that's assembled into an episode as gold just because it's an episode of the Simpsons. There have been good, outstanding, and amazing episodes, but there are also lousy, stupid, moronic episodes as well. Can you even compare "22 short stories about Springfield," for instance, to "Large Marge" or that one where it is revealed that Homer has a crayon in his brain? Only the most rabid, non-discriminating so-called "fan" would even try to equate those episodes in quality.

I'd put all of this season's episodes on my "worst of" list. They're making last season's episodes (which weren't good) look like masterworks.
I recall seeing "Lisa The Skeptic" for the first time and thinking wow, this kinda stinks. I just saw it again in syndication the other day. It's looking a LOT better now.
The only thing that was funny about last night's episode was the "Law and Order" bit. And that wasn't connected at all to the rest of the episode, which was lousy. The reality show idea was a decent one -- but it should have been more of a play on "The Real World" and not some ridiculous 1895 rules apply thing.
