DVD Episodes: Syndication Cuts?

I just got a DVD player, so I was elated to finally be able to watch my Simpsons DVD (yes, I bought the DVD before the player). It was more wonderful than I dared hope. . .until I got to the episode "The Call of the Simpsons." I know there was a scene where Lisa and Marge are talking about how babies are made. Lisa says, "I've heard some terrible stories at school," and Marge replies, "Well, they're true, I'm afraid." I watched the episode twice, and could not find that part! Why did they leave it out? Are similar cuts made on other episodes in the set?

How funny...my sister and I just got done watching that episode, and I was thinking the same thing! If you watch the commentary though, they say they cut it out. I don't remember them giving a reason why however. I know I've seen the scene before...was it shown on UPN perhaps?

I think that was cut out of all airings...but feel free to check the timings against those in www.snpp.com/episodes/scg-1.txt - i'm still mad about the cuts in The Telltale Head!
