i know where to get full south park episodes, but i have had no luck finding simpsons ones. anyone know where to find them (normally realplayer format). i have seen countless sites linking to those crappy online hard drive things that never work. any pointers would be apreciated! thanks

One problem I've had with the downloading of episodes is that my RealPlayer tells me it's "buffering" but five minutes later, it hasn't picked up. I have absolutely no problem with Family Guy eps though.

I love kazaa.com . I have heard they are like morpheus. I like the way it downlaods by breaking the file into as many parts as there are people online with it. It goes really fast! I get a whole 2 hour movie in 30 minutes sometimes. I have DSL though.

Well, at the rate of 2 seasons a year, it'll take them 6 years just to release all the seasons up to the point. By then of course there will be 6 more seasons of episodes. Then you have the issue that the DVDs aren't out yet. I'll definitely buy the DVDs as soon as they come out (and a DVD player to watch them), but until then I'll keep watching my realplayer episodes. And some of us have fast Internet connections at work or college, so downloading a 35 MB Simpsons episode doesn't take long.

If you're not a hardcore viewer of the Simpsons, it might make sense... someone who would forego the DVD for internet downloads probably wouldn't buy the DVD anyway if downloads weren't available.

Most hardcore Simpsons fans will buy the DVDs, which will be amazing quality.. but if you want the whole collection now, you may want to download them. By the time they've released all the seasons, it will be like 4 years from now, so one might as well get the collection on 90 cds (269 eps / 3 per cd).. You can burn VCDs in Nero Burning Rom, just choose the Video CD option in the New dialog and drag your mpeg files in. Keep in mind they _must_ be mpeg (around 225MB each), so it'll take you a few months to get the whole collection. The quality of my mpegs are pretty close to VHS, and looks amazing on an analog TV screen.. it's well worth it if you don't want to wait years for the entire collection on DVD to be released.
I'll still buy the DVDs though. :)
