Shouldn't the latest intro give a good clue as to the location of Springfield? From what I saw it zoomed out from an area around the Great Lakes.

Santa's Little Helper is a greyhound! 4. Jimbo's first name is Corky. 5. Uter is alive! 6. Baker Street. 7. Darren Hayes. 8. Marvin Monroe was thought to be dead. And buried under a stadium. But Xino Kiner didn't get the stadium reference, and Marvin Monroe is still alive anyway. 9. And, most important of all, ... Rob Wade is gay!

Okay, I can't stand it any longer. The location of Springfield is not shown in that opening. Nowhere, nowhen, nohow. What IS shown, is the location of the QUANTUM Springfield. I guess you could say it's quantum state.
