Instead of retire, maybe do a better job with. There have been some seasons where it is the funniest episode, even when it was not as funny as the ToH episodes of years past.

I have sort of been hoping that they will come out with a DVD of nothing but ToH episodes. I think they did with 4 of the early ones. I have all of the early seasons on DVD but stopped buying them because the ToH episode is the only one I really would want from many of the seasons I don't have.

I have not seen the 21st one yet, since it has not aired, so I will reserve judgement until I do.

Yes. Treehouses of Horror V, VI, VII, and XII, from sesons 6, 7, 8, and 13. If they do another such DVD, I hope there's no overlap, as I don't want to pay for multiple copies of the same show.

Technically, XII was from the 12th season (CABF) at least in the real world if not on the DVDs.
