the last two episode endings seemed to be the best in three or four years... i was so sick of endings where they have to ruin the sentiment, if they have some at all. but the ending for 'Barting Over' was half decent, and spectacular compared to other endings lately. And the second episode had the best ending since god knows when. They didnt try to make it horribly dumb. Sure the head sculpture was over-done. but its was nice. and heartwarming in such a cold time for the simpsons. PLUS homer showed what its like to be a parent. i loved how he was trying to make lisa feel better in the car. he rarely ever does that anymore without coming off like an asshole.
