i've been a simpsons fan a long time ...

... as i'm sure many of you have been, too.

we've watched some episdodes, had some laughs, cried some tears ... well, maybe not so much cried, but you get the idea.

we've challenged our friends to stump us on trivia, we (annoyingly, i might add) say the character's lines as we're watching repeats, we have favorite episodes, not-so-favorites episodes, and the same goes for favorite characters and dialogues.

as to why i didn't join this newsgroup earlier, i have no clue. probably shoulda joined years ago.

so, forgive me if i'm a little confused by the sheer amount of bigotry on this newsgroup.

i don't care what kind of personal battles people are trying to wage on this newsgroup. i don't care what kind of fights people got into over this newsgroup. i don't care who's trying to get back at who, and i don't care about the reasons. i don't care who's trying to impersonate who, and their twisted reason for doing that, either.

i have an idea, that (i hope ... scratch that, i KNOW) real simpsons fans will agree with ... let's stop these black bashing, jew hating, shit eating posts that i've already read a number of times since i've gotten here. the have absolutley nothing to do with the simpsons.

you hate blacks? fine. can't stand jews? ok. get a hard on reading about lisa submerged in shit? that's super. no one else cares. i sure don't. take this trash out of here. i'm not a prude ... i'm all for cursing, heckling, taunting ... hell, i love it ... as long as it deals with the subject at hand. the current situation is way out of hand, and totally out of place.

let's get some debate going, fellas. as annoying as all these "is _____ gay?" posts are, at least they're on subject. we'll try to fix the problems with THESE posts later. for now, let's stop the hate, m'kay?

disagree with me? fine. either:

a). write a post worthy of being on this newsgroup, and post that sucker. rest assured i'll read it and reply.

or

b). write some bullshit, 5th-grader response about how my jew friends eat shit, or whatever it is you talk about, and email it to me at [email], so everyone else doesn't have to deal with you.

If you give them a reaction, they will know you're reading their trash. If you want to go away for good, don't respond to their posts at all.

Eventually, they'll become like that "Race is Real" jackass who cross-posts his dopey "newsletters" to 5 or 6 NG's and no one responds at all.
