New writer for hire

After tonight's episode, I'm offering my primitive yet creative tools to anyone from Fox who'll listen...I've enjoyed all the episodes this season, but tonight was a scary step in the wrong direction. I hope wednesday night sets us back in line again.

I have one entire script titled: "The Opposite of Something", a Seinfeld parody.

The other is a work in progress titled: "Survive-OR-Die"

There are other scripts available there to read, along with other forums and nice people with positive thoughts to anyone with an episode idea or comment.

I normally don't like the crossover ideas, but this Seinfeld-Simpsons script worked well, IMO.

As for tonights episode, on paper I thought it sounded pretty good what with Homer being executed (at least it was a different idea with some potential) but somehow it turned into a repeat from the "Take the Money and Run" episode (stealing the worst part of that episode is not very shrewd.) Nevertheless, I've liked all but 3-4 of the episodes this season fairly well, and still have faith that the Simpsons have many good episodes left in them.

Thanks for reading it! I think it works well because Homer is a lot like George and Kramer. When I originally watched "The Opposite", I couldn't help but see Homer in that same situation. It pretty much wrote itself.
