Simpsons on CBC don't seem to be sped up, with glitchy sound as are the fox eps. also, the pacing seemed slower+ less commercials? Are they shown more complete up north?

CBC episodes sometimes have DIFFERENT cuts than the regular syndicated eps. So, theoretically, it would be possible to edit together a complete episode from the 2 different airings!
And if you get Teletoon on cable, all but I think the 1st season episodes are uncut!

I *hate* that sound. A while ago I decided to only watch un-altered episodes (ie on teletoon) because it's just too annoying. Maybe if everyone did that, the other networks would follow suit... or maybe they'd just stop showing reruns.
