They dropped the "Come quick! Maggie shot Mr. Burns again!" followed by a long pause" gag.
In the original, it's:
Chief: It's so nice to see a kid using a wooden bat. These days, it's all "aluminum" this and "George W." that. Lou: Hey, Chief, look what I got in my Laffy meal! Chief: Oh, mini pinball! (swipes it) Lou: Hey, give that back! Chief: Give what back?
In syndication, they cut everything after "It's so nice to see a kid using a wooden bat."
