Homer has been seriously injured several times during his lifetime, yet he always seems to make a speedy recover. What are some of his other hilarious brushes with death?
Off the top of my head I fondly remember --a badger ripping open his chest --being shot in a duel --part of his skull broken, exposing his brain (i forget which episode this was)

That was a THOH I think so it doesn't count.
Theres far more where he would certainly have been killed, three occasions involving falling off a cliff top (daredevil, bigger brother, tramampoline).
As the years roll by he seems to be able to take ever more punishment.

Don't forget his many brushes with cannonballs. Though in [3F21] Homerpalooza he did sustain injuries that Dr. Hibbert said would kill him if he took one more, he has been hit multiple times since and not been killed (Most recently in [AABF21} Guess Who's Coming to Criticize Dinner?)
