ohhhh-kayyyyy, but can you point out what you didnt like about the episodes I mentioned, so we can have a nice wee discussion?

Most of you didnt include the "springfield riot" episode from last year. That episode ranks among the best ever. Krusty walking out of a 99 cent porno shop with sunglasses makes me laugh every time I see it. The monster sneaking into the old lady's house looking up and asking Homer "friend?" after being kicked in the groing for a minute by the old lady is in my top 10 Simpsons moments of all time. That episode alone justified last season for me and I know 10 years from now will be included one of the great Simpsons episodes.

You mean the one where Springfield splits into two towns?  That was terrible!

although i have bad-mouthed this episode in this group, i watched it yesterday and i found the "oops....it was better the other way" transformation of Moe's bit very funny

still only an average episode though.
