an adjective is something that describes a noun. Such as:

Wow, that's a sexy nurse. ---- Where "Sexy" is the adjective.

also, "..your an idiot" is not the correct usage of "your". It's a common misconception with the word. The correct use would be: "You're an idiot". As in "you are an idiot". "your" is for posessive use only. Like, "Your car sucks". See?
