Capsule submissions for CABF19: Treehouse of Horro XII

Opening: Burns orders Smithers to hang a small orange bat from atop a wind pole. Smithers gets electrocuted and runs into part of the Mansion, and sends it burning down into the Burns' Museleum (Spelled wrong, I know.). Four coffins pop out and appear in front of the four pillars near the front door. The Simpson family comes by, dressed as the Flintstones, and see the corpses inside the coffins. They scream, and run through the gate, splitting apart. Burns' congratulates the bat, and the bat flys into the screen, and then we see the "Simpsons Halloween Special XII" title.

Segment 1: Hex in the city. (Early Title: Curse of the Dummy)

Reference:(2F15)The fortuneteller looks like a warped version of the one from Lisa's Wedding.

Segment 2: House of Whacks Refernce: (3F23) James Bond referenced (James Bundt).

Segment 3: Wiz Kids Reference: (8F16) Bart Comments "I can't help but feel partially responsible", and he uses a similiar line here.

Flintstones--Homer and Marge are dressed as Fred and Wilma (this reference has only been used how many times?)

Hex and the City:

"Sex and the City" is basis for title (obviously). Clever Hans: Lisa as horse tapping twice for yes (see my review post.)

2001: Whole concept of computer going crazy and attempting to kill people.

Harry Potter (main theme) Sleeping Beauty (small prick kills Montymort, much like the witch in Disney's version of Sleeping Beauty) 8F06--Lisa's Pony--School talent show assembly, Skinner responding to Milhouse with "That's terrible, just terrible," (or similar.)

Also, does anyone know if the Milhouse "This is just like my dream" line after his botched spell (hee hee) is a ref?
