I taped the episode and my VCR stopped right at the scene where Homer just got out of the hospital and he and Bart are sitting in the fishing boat. Homer says something like "I can't believe anger was keeping me alive..."

The same thing happened to me! I programmed my VCR and control box to come on at 7:59 p.m. and to turn off at 8:30! I reprogrammed by VCR and control box to finish at 8:31 so it won't happen again! You do the same!
