On Sunday's show they referenced a game Bart created back in the 90s, the put the years up on the screen, how could he have not aged? Who gave the okay for this?

If you want to get technical, they showed the company back in 1999, (now) long before "Angry Dad" even existed, then they mentioned that the company went under when the bubble burst, which we know happened in the early 2000s, but they don't say that.

They've retconned the family's history a couple of times now. Part of me is annoyed that the family doesn't age. On the other hand if they keep on rebooting their ages it could be a funny running gag. Particularly if they do it more and more frequently.

All I saw of this episode was Bart onstage at the Oscars with an award in his hand.
More than 10 years after I stopped watching each week and not caring to read up on developments much since, I think that image of innocous self-love was the moment I finally lost all my remaining vestiges of respect for THE SIMPSONS.
