Actually fairly fun (and did a good job making the surveillance cams and Ned's behavior seem odious and annoying, even though it's fiction of course). The plots were fun (and the moral for Ned) but there were also lots of fun jokes/lines, setups, and creative illegal things.
Somehow - perhaps because of the Fox May promos tonight - I thought the Nigel guy was a Sideshow Bob disguise, even though I know he has an episode coming up. But he does look like SSB, with the facial and lip shape and lighter skin shade. And he was setting up surveillance everywhere in town but the Simpsons' backyard - doesn't that sound like a SSB plot? If it's for a British reality show about oafish Americans, why wouldn't the Simpsons be entirely covered? Hmm.
DYN: ...Duffman's usual theme (Yello's "Oh Yeah") is now "Get Ready for This"? ...Skinner calls Ralph's position a lectern (correct), but then later a podium (wrong)? ...in a long opening, Homer *does* bring plutonium home with him, but that didn't run tonight? ...Orwell Security, est. 1984? (How could you NOT notice, ugh) ...Dr. Nick is still alive? ...the wealthy dowager who faints is back (after, I think, nearly a decade)?

So... what was the deal with the opening tonight? I'm not hip and with it, so I don't even really recognize the song. But where did it come from? It wasn't a new version of the song, or fan-animated or anything, so what's the point? But it does have the basic flow and some specific elements of the usual opening, like Largo, the "Springfield Sweep" (with, for example, Patty and Selma in bathing suits), and of course the couch.
And LABF20 (Once upon a Time in Springfield) ran its third time tonight. The ending text was the same as the second airing (suggesting you just wasted your time).
